about Alice

There is something I must address about the tone and the intention of this serie of images. Alice Liddell and Alice's character adventures in Wonderland have been a source of inspiration for a long time, before and after I start asking questions about Lewis Carroll's intentions. There are existing theories, extremely complicated to prove but still quite plausible, and unfortunately deeply horrendous and disturbing.

Following the brave steps of American McGee, creator of two bold video game adaptations of Alice in Wonderland, I decided as follows:

• Alice is what we're making of her character. Let's make her brave, constant and not a victim. Let's make her follow the path, wherever it leads.
